Need help blocking an advertisement here.

Hello I am new here and trying to learn about the basic stuff before attempting to copy any thing to CD or DVD.

I am trying to read the "The PC-DVD Guide" and get a bad jumping and flashing advertisement at the top of the page "Congratulations you have won our hourly prize" ouch.
    http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/articles/pcdvd_guide.html

Is there any pop-up blocker that will prevent this advertisement from showing up?

All I have installed now is Popup Stopper.
    Thank
    Ron.

Register to that page here: http://www.digital-digest.com/register.php

After that the advertise should only show up the first time.

I registered at Digital-Digest and the flashing banner from hell is still there.
Thought that was part of this forum same logo. Woops.

        Thanks for the help.

I know you use IE6 but if you make the switch to Firefox you can use the addon called Adblock Plus it gets rid of it

I've requested the ad network that I used to not load these kinds of ads for my website, but it's hard to say if the "block" will be succesful.

No need to change browser. Use Ad Muncher.

Thank you for all the help.

Admin looks like the bad ad is gone.

BR7 I now have Firefox with Adblok Plus and they stop the banner ads.

Linx05 I installed Ad Muncher to use with IE 6 and that blocks all advertising.

Now back to reading all this information.

If you have Ad Muncher there is no need for Adblock Plus. Let AM do all the work for all browsers.
