This is so annoying. Videos refuse to work.

I have a bunch of music videos on my comp and they all worked perfectly until like a day ago! The weird thing is that I have TV shows that are HD or whatever on here, and those all work and have worked since I got them. I don't understand what happened! I just want to watch my videos!

I don't get it! I'm getting so mad! Please, please help me!

Have you tryed to do a Restore to a point before they went bad?
Have you loaded any new software?
Do you have a good Virus program running?

    Hope this helps.

Also try GSpot to see if the encoders are installed property, maybe a bad codec installed.

Hmmm...I seem to have found a way to watch the videos again, although at half the size. For some strange reason, both of my computers (this video thing happened on the computer with internet and the computer without at around the same time...although no videos were transportted from the comp with internet to the comp without) refuse to play .mpg or .mpeg files! I changed all the videos to .wmv and .avi and they work fine, except, as I said, half the size. I will try the GSpot thing and if that fails, the restore point.

I did do a scan for viruses on both computers (with the same protection software the government uses) and nothing was found...
