Camcorder to dvd anyone

I bought a jvc GZ-MG27U HDD camcorder. It worked great untill I tried to get the movie on cd. All I want to do is get the movie of my daughters karate ternament from the camcorder to a dvd or cd so I can pop it in my dvd player and veiw it on my tv. Is there software out there made for this. To start out It is a little confusing to someone who knows nothing about this but when I copy it over to my pc there are 3 or four folders. the actual movie files is mpg format but I suspect I need something that will read all the folders and use them to build one movie file that will be what I want. Otherwise why would they be there.
The only thing I am sure about is none of my normal dvd burning software will read the mpg files.

You need a DVD authoring program such as TMPGEnc DVD Author or DVD-Lab Pro (These are paid programs with free trial time). For freeware, you can try DVD Flick. After authoring DVD, you can use DVD burning software to create DVD

you have to go into the project settings and set burning up

I prefer to check the output before burning, still experimenting

so I leave iso creation and burn to disk turned off

I just burn manually with nero

there's an imgburn inside dvd flick's folder, wonder if having imgburn installed causes a conflict?

Not sure if NeroVision Express is a part of that pack.

If it is then you can just use that to make your DVD.

Goto your progarm files, nero, and see if you have NeroVision Express.
Really easy program to build the DVD.

Edit: The info. I can find appears that you should have NeroVision Express.

jeez wish I would have seen this thread yesterday. giveawayoftheday.com was giving away a free program just for this sinario called AVS Capture Wizard. If you go there and check out the comments I'm sure someone says there is another free porgram that would do the same thing.
There is a thread on this site in the general forum located in the sticky notes or you can just click HERE
