Help Needed

Ok all i want to know, Is there a program out there that will let me Lighten up the picture in a Video before i burn it to a DVD Disk? i use DVD Shrink then i use Image Burm to burn the file to a DVD disk. Any help is Appreciated.

I believe you can do that through imovie if you have a mac. Problem is you have to have a mac or have access to one with the software. Other than that I would not know. imovie is a powerful tool that allows you to even add your own dvd title and menu screens so it would be pretty much like using a cannon to kill a mosquito.

I believe that you can use Vegas or Premiere to do this. check out this thread and see if it helps. link

Hi, I am a retired Police Officer from NSW, Australia.

I have been using DVD SHRINK for years with no problems, backing up copies of DVD's, etc.

Yesterday, I tried once again to back up "more than one" DVD, after 2% of analyzing, I got the following message:

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.

Failed to read "D:/ "

Data error (cyclic redundancy check).

I have 2 computors (one has Vista and one has XP) - DVD Shrink has been working great on both computors for months. Suddenly yesterday after backing up one movie, it started to show me the above message.

I then tried on the XP machine (assuming it was a Vista problem), and voila, the same thing.

Maybe somebody out there is smarter than I am. Thanks in advance!
