Well I checked my original conversion and theres no sound there either, however there are audio files located in the dvd file with video files. Do they need to be connected or something?
example1: ffmpeg_audio_title0_track0_source0
2:ffmpeg_video_title0_source0_pass0
3:Is the actual file exe. (click on it and the movie plays with no sound)Comment

Chewy- I know Roxio is not recommended, but do you why the roxio my dvd buring takes up alot of process's in the cpu? When I burn with roxio I have 100% cpu for long time straight. Makes for not being able to do anything. When I used Imgburn, it only used 20% of my cpu to burn. Does my question make sense?Comment

Is there a free version of nero 6? I think I have a nero disc come to think of it, everytime I go to nero there trying to sell me Nero 7, and its very difficult for me to navigate their site.
Still yet did I convert these wrong? Or r they in the right format to be dvd? Can I use the disc I already burn as the data for a new dvd? My hard drives full, wot wot wot
I have a nero 6 oem suite came with my cd burner.Last edited by Jensen; 11 Aug 2007, 04:03 AM.Comment

Edit- using nero 6
OK so when adding my dvd file to the video_ts I went the file in my project and added it, which worked fine, but when I tried the same for the audio_ts there was nothing to add.
when I go to add files to the audio_ts the file type scroll at the bottom reads
DVD-Video file types (*.bup * ifo, *vob). but still when I select all files the audio isnt there. Where did dvd flicks put it ? <-- should I post this question in dvd flicks thread?Comment

So then no need to add anything to audio_ts. Is for other language audios? By looking at the log when you say it is embedded, your speaking of the ac3 @ audio codec?
What is ac3?
additional thought- If imgburn made burned this as a data disc, do I need to make a menu of some sort? I didnt know if dvdflicks does that automatically or not. My ps3 never loaded a dvd menu. I guess I want to put the menu there for regular dvds.
EDIT 2nd part:
I receives my usb upgrade today and what difference. I was able to burn this dvd in 7 minutes @ 8x thru nero 6 suite oem, and it plays on my comp and my reg. dvd player, but not my ps3. Not really important, but then again the ps3 has the HD up-scaler. Im thinking it needs a menu. Any ideasLast edited by Jensen; 11 Aug 2007, 08:01 AM.Comment

AUDIO_TS is always empty for DVD-Video.
AC3 = Dolby Digitial = Audio Codec 3. It is muxed into the VOBs with the video and suibtitles (if any).
There is no necessity for you to have a menu. Plenty of people do movie only DVDs.
Happy to see your USB burning speeds improved.
Your PS3 may not like the media you are using.

It is irrelevant. However, if you want one, you'll need to author it in. This is non-trivial. Don't turn your burning issues into authoring ones.
