I've been asked to help a school convert it's old VHS tapes resources into digital for use with laptops. I have a combined VHS-DVD player which allows me to copy from one to the other, so I've successfully copied the small section they want from the VHS to a disk. So I now have a DVD with a collection of BUP IFO and VOB files and I'm pretty much clear on what the separate files are.
The video itself is less than 2 minutes long but the school has others that they want to add later. What the school wants to do is make copies of the disk for use for several teachers on different laptops some of which don't have DVD, but do have CD. What I need to able to do is supply a single CD with the videos on in a way that covers the most likely eventuality i.e. idiot proof, for no DVD and only Media player, preferably in a single file (for each section). Can anyone suggest the best way to do this and what software is recommended?
