Hello everyone,

I don't know if this is the right place to ask my question. I recently got a burner installed into my computer. It came with a version 3 of Cyberlink PowerProducer. I have a number of downloaded videos on my hard drive (wmv and avi) and I would like to burn them onto a dvd so I can watch them on television. I'm very confused right now..there are so many options available and so many terms that I'm not familiar with. Are there any instructions or tutorials available? I don't want to do anything complicated (at this point)..just straightforward transferring onto a dvd but I'm not sure where to start! What are the steps involved please??

I'd truly appreciate your help ..just to get me started on the right path..

Again, welcome to the forum and to the world of digital video. There's a lot of fun stuff (well, fun for me anyway) that you can do, but the first steps are the hardest, so don't give up just yet.

But unless you want fancy menus (and even if you do, I recommend TMPGEnc DVD Author instead of PowerProducer anyway: http://www.digital-digest.com/articl...ide_page1.html), then you should like Chewy mentioned stick with some of the free programs such as DVD Flick or my current favourite, FAVC, guides below:
