Question about a .daa files

I had a friend back-up a movie that on a dvd-rw, so I could use the dvd-rw for some other projects. Apparently it was saved as a .daa, any suggestions on how to get this back to a playable format?

Last time I looked this up, I got the impression that it was scam created by PowerIso
to sell their product, what got me was their use of illegal P2P filesharing as an incentive.

...i was unable to try that program, its shareware $29.99. For 1 movie i don't think so. Any other ideas welcome...

There are ways to get Power ISO (not trial version) I can not tell you how cause of rules but there are popular...umm search engines - anyway - once you get it loaded on PowerISO simply open the disc in Explorer & copy contents into a folder then burn / create an ISO/image & use with any emulator or burn & uninstall PowerISO. To ensure 100% success...while u have Power ISO installed & file in question loaded burn on RW Media to ensure your Player can handle it, if it does then burn on regular media & uninstall PowerISo
