    need help with dx50 decompressor.

Okkay. i just got here today. I need some serious help. i have to write about this film and the version i have has no subs. so i downloaded the movie from ytube using keepvid.com. then, i used an flv to avi converter and now i have the movie (in 10 parts; from youtube) as 10 small .avi files. the subtitle file is a single file and when i tried to join these 10 .avi files together, i was told by vdub that it does not have the dx50 decompresser. is there anyone who can guide me on this? i searched and found something called the tsunami filter pack. will this let vdub join my 10 .avi files to 1 big file? is there anything else i can do? please help me, this project is due real soon.

update: the tsunami pack doesn't help either. vdub still wont open my dx50(?) files!
alternatively, is there anyway that i can queue up 10 10min files and somehow have one .srt file run throught them all? or break it up into 10 parts (the subtitle file; i.e.)
