HAHAHAHAHA Gues what !!!!???? I'm so happy it now works after I uninstalled DirectX 9.0, went back to 8.1 (NVE said it couldn't run on 8.1) so I reinstalled 9.0 and now it works!! NVE doesn't crash any more after loading video file. Thanks A LOT for pointing the DirectX issue to me. Thank you so much, you've given life back to my pc again

Versions 3.0.1.27 & 3.1.0.14 & 25 reported that they needed DirectX 9.0 to work. Those are all the NVE installers I have.

price a dvd burner and try dvd flick and you will never use another vcd

standalone dvd players are going to ones that support avi's(divx or xvid) and you can just burn avi's as data cd's in a cd burner

vcd's are very obsolete

Chewy? Are you still around? Now there is another issue with NVE, I am able to load video files to burn as vcd's but when I try and cut the file (.avi file) in two under the edit menu NVE just freezes. Any ideas ? Thanks a lot in advance again.
