Hi.
I don't know where this question would fit in on this forum, so I am
asking here.
I have owned the ADVC-100 for some time now and have captured a lot of
video. It works great for video capturing.
Now I have been asked to record a one day seminar, audio only.
I would like to use the ADVC-100 and my laptop computer to do the audio
capturing. I have the Sound Forge 9 software for audio recording and editing.
But I have not been able to capture audio only with the ADVC-100. Now, I
know you must have a video signal for the ADVC to start digitizing. And I am using an old camcorder to provide the video signal. But the Sound Forge software does not see the sound stream from the ADVC. Is there software that would allow capturing only audio from the ADVC through firewire?
This problem is driving me nuts. It should be so easy!
I am working in Windows XP home.
All help appreciated.
