Is there a way to know if a video has been altered?

Hi, we have been asked to prove if a video has been edited/altered. Just check if they have added/removed parts or mixed them... the problem is I dont know exactly how to "prove" it. Can someone help us on this one?

Hi. Welcome. Right now the only way to prove something like that would be to get your hands on the original copy and just compare the two. No way that one could really prove that w/out knowing what the original source looked like.
