    TV-Out Sound?

    Hi,
I just bought a new computer and it came with an ATi Radeon 7000 Pro w/ TV-Out. The Video card has and outlet for the monitor, S-Video, and Composite output. I can see movies perfectly on my TV, but I don't have any sound. What do I have to do to get sound to come out from the TV? I heard before than the video card needs a direct connection to the sound card in order to bring it to the TV. My sound is built into the motherboard but I do have a Sound card if I need to use it. I don't know. But watching the movies on my TV without the sound coming from it sucks. Do I have to buy a cable or mess around with the hardware? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

You tv outputs on your video card are just that - video only. You need to get the sound from your computer to your tv. If you have a built in soundcard you should still have a output that goes to your speakers. Use a splitter to go to your speakers and your tv.
