for some reason it now takes hours to burn a movie instead of minutes...will someone please tell me what's going on...Thanks alot!!!!!!

As suggested by blutach, check the pc's DMA setting. Sometimes, without warning, the pc will switch from the fast DMA setting to the super slow PIO mode. Usually occurs if the dvd drive tries to read a disc that may be damaged or severely scratched. And you must manually set it back to DMA.Comment

Hi jobjob. Not only check your dma but I would also make sure you not only have enough storage and memory but that you don't have a virus running around. This happen to me way back and I found out it was a trojan worming his way through my dell. That'll definitely slow everything down.SAMSUNG SH-S203B, SAMSUNG SH-S223F,
