Burn Video AND Files

I am trying to burn my Wedding video to a DVD with menus, and everything, but can NOT figure out for the life of me, how to get the wedding photos on the same DVD. I have Nero Essentials 7 with Nero Vision 4. I tried creating Photo Slide Show, but I want to have different pictures available to some people, and don't want to go through the whole laborous process of editing, tweaking the audio, and the 1.5 hour transcode session every time I want a different version

What I would like to do is simply include a folder on the DVD with the photos in it, and have those accessable from a PC, not from the menus. Is there any way to do this? Please Help, Christmas is coming up fast, need to get them done.

It sounds like you are trying to mix formats on one disc. A conforming DVD Video disc has VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders and expects files with certain names of certain formats to be in certain locations. If you just want a bunch of photos, burn a Data DVD with a folder full of image files. Most stand-alone players will do a primitive slide show when they see a bunch of .jpg files.

edit: btw you might find this much easier to do by using Imgburn in "build mode" instead of Nero.

Create a folder for your photos and pop the photos in there. The folder should be at the same "level" as VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS. Then use ImgBurn to burn the project.

Note if these so called "DVD ROM" files are big enough, they might make the project too big to fit on a disc.

I guess I am trying to mix formats. I don't see why I can't have 3 folders on the disk, VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS for the DVD, and a PICTURES folder for the photos. On a DVD player, it would play the DVD, and a computer could do both.

Burning it as a Data DVD doesn't play in DVD players at all either, so that doesn't work.

Where is a good place I can get this Imgburn?

Yes, you can do that. Make sure "Pictures" is at the same level as the VIDEO_TS folder.

Just have that as a project and burn in using build mode with ImgBurn. A data disc won't work in DVD players.
