recovered files wont play

i recovered some deleted vids from an sd card and they wont play. they are .3gp files. are they lost forever or is there some way to repair it? i would assume if the files were not recoverable the recovery software wouldnt have even let me recover them?

Welcome. Some files even though they're marked as recoverable won't work. What did you use Recuva? Also might have to take into account the .3gp files and your sd mode of storage. Don't know about sd cards, but are the files altered once deleted in regards to the secure digital component?
