Black Screen of Death for Preview screen on Power Director 7...

Powerdirector wont let me preview video when editing. I get audio, however no visual. I'm running windows vista though using Microsoft 2000 settings. Any ideas?

Sounds like you might be missing a video codec.

what doc means ur video may need a codec for correct display of video and audio.

Yeah, downloaded it, installed it, ran it...didnt work.

PROBLEM FIXED!

Posting this for anyone that has the same problem and googles this thread...

Just simple turn your settings back to Vista if you have a custom personalized theme for your computer.
