First post and I have already screwed up....user name is suppose to be Stillraining not Srillraining...Have asked admin to fix that , hopefully they can..
Anyway have a chance to pick up a mint condition Canon XL-1s at a great price..1K...Comes with both the 16x and 3x lenses and also has the boom mic upgrade.
My question is rather the minimum 100lux rating is going to be too big of a negative filming night time Soccer games under the lights?..and if this will result in an unhappy marriage?...Would i be better off passing on this great deal and looking for something in the < 2 lux range?
I want somthing with the heavy pro shooting stabilty of the likes of the XL-1s as Im not real keen on the consumer handycams...My job is putting togather viedo clips for collage hopfull players to give to collage scouts.
Unlimited funds is not in the cards however.
