I'm trying to back up my sister's DVDs because they don't live very long with her four young children. I found a program called ripit4me that worked with one DVD, but now it can't even run on my computer, and I can't figure out the problem.
Every time I run it, it crashes. It gets as far as saying:
This DVD seems to be protected:
The DVD seems to have 2 protected PGCs
then the next time I load it, I get an error msg that says:
It looks like RipIt4Me crashed the last time you ran it. etc.
I posted the log, and it directed me to this website.
I don't know where the log went, but the second half of the .txt file just contains repititions of the following:
I 10:33:46: D: GDS E: Interf 1
I 10:33:46: D: GDS ScsiStatus 0
I 10:33:46: D: GDS E: Interf 1
I 10:33:46: D: GDS ScsiStatus 0
over and over again.
Edit: And it's not a SCSI drive, it's IDE; so I don't understand that part.
It worked once, but now I can't even get it to run. Does anybody have any advice for me?
