Video/Audio Sync Problems

Hi All!

Someone, please help this Newbie out. I know I'm not the first 'cause I've seen others post exactly the same issue -- Video/Audio sync issues. I'm using Flask 6 converting DVD vobs to WMV. I couldn't be happier with the results (picture and sound quality) but for this progressive audio sync issue. It doesn't begin until approximately 15 to 20 minutes into the movie at which point it becomes extremely noticable and distracting. I'd appreciate any suggestions you all may have to share.

It is likely that the CPU power demand is too great for your system. A lower video resolution and running your desktop at 800x600 (or even 640x480) and 16-bit colour will help.

In progressive testing I've found that 640X480X24 is significantly faster then 640X480X16, but that could be because most video is encoded at 24 bits.
You may also want to try re-encoding with a different audio freq.
ie, if you did it the first time at 48000, try 44100 or vise versa.
