napa dav311 portable vcd player probs

Does anyone have the napa dav311 and have really bad problems with vcd playback? like every 2 to 5 seconds the screen jiggles, jumps, jerks? i know the vcds i'm using are perfectly fine because i used them on a sony vcd player. Anyone know how to fix or make the napa dav311 work without all the crappy framerate jerks?
