    Mp3 Codec in Xmpeg

Okay i have xmpeg..............and am trying to use the radium mp3 codec and have done this before successfully but for some strange reason xmpeg has chosen not to see my mp3 codec now..........i have selected decode audio from the Audio options menu but when i go to the drag down box for audio codes Pcm is the only codec listed. If anyone knows a fix to this problem it would be greatly appreciated..................TIA Coma

I suggest you process the audio separately. You will have more freedom in choosing what you wish to do with the audio file before muxing it together with the video. Generally, there is gain in quality as well.
    1. Extract audio to .wav using Graphedit or Vob2audio
    2. If you wish, you can amplify the volume of the .wav file using any sound-editing software, like Cooledit
    3. Convert the .wav file in to .MP3 using an MP3 encoder, like LAME
    4. Mux the video you have created using XMPEG with the MP3 using nandub
