    DivX Player 5.0.2 pro

    I am running Windows 2000 pro on my mac (via, VirtualPC) and I can't get anything to play. DivX Player 5.0.2 pro quits before it starts up. I have tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it to no avail. Help! I am quite new to Windows, so it could be that I am being very stupid....

      why dont u just use the mac's version of the app

          the Mac version doesn't work with many of the codecs out there. esp when it comes movies, vcd etc. the mac isn't much good
