    video pixel problem after encode

Hi, i just got registered today.

So heres the problem. I got a vob files of 315 MB(obviously high quality), and encode it using Nero Digital Standard AVC with 2Mbps and 1Mbps. The video outcome has line effect on it (sorry i dont know how to say it).

    The original vob

    The 2Mbps ND Standard AVC

    The 700Kbps ND Standard AVC

As you can see, I tried lowering the bitrate, but it seems gives the same result. What could be the possible cause? Oh btw i havent touch the Nero Recode 2 configuration, I just accept everything as it is.

Should i play around with the Delta threshold & upsizing and downsizing method? Your help will be great.

      Oh that what it is.

Btw, now that i have done deinterlace the video, seems to me nero digital are terrible at it. I have to use tmpegenc to do it properly. Thanks for the info.

i havent seen decent deinterlacing with any transcoder - so yes, use tmpeg, cce, hc or whatever with internal or avisynth deinterlacers
