When I recode a segment from a DVD to mp4 format on my hard drive using Recode, the resulting volume seems much lower than it did on the original DVD. I've read elsewhere that this is a known problem with Recode. There is a Registry "fix" that doesn't seem to do anything. I've also heard of other workarounds like demuxing the audio, pumping it up and remuxing, but I haven't tried that yet. It would be great if the Recode software had a feature to control the volume levels, like they do in some audio rippers.
