I have all settings to DMA. And the dvd are the ones I have used to do over 200 dvd burns with no problem. I have unmounted virtual drive. And only have my lite-on dvd burner and my hard drive on the USB ports. and it is a Dell Inspiron 8600.

OH yeah the other thing I just now noticed was the Bus Type

The last one I just was Memorex DVD-R 16x, and I am useing Imation DVD-R 8x and I have the same problem with them both.

I keep trying to upgrade it to JS0D but it keeps locking my computer, so I dont know if I am doing that wrong or what.

probably the usb, the jsod.exe found my 3 other burners and said no liteon's

Just a thought but try flashing in safe mode with spyware disabled.
