VERY frustrated

I've backed up quite a few of my DVDs, however, a few weeks ago Nero would just stop burning. It gets to 2.9% and says that the burn process failed. I've tried everything I've read on the forums. I've tried burning at all sorts of speeds, resizing the DVD, turning off burn at once, turning on burn at once, DMCA reset, been using the same DVDs so the brand shouldn't have anything to do with it plus I've tried many of the same brand, still doesn't work and used the program that reset your region counter. I've run out of ideas and cannot understand why. I appreciate any and all help Here's the error log:

The firmware version 2.0d seems to be old enough to cause the burning problem. Please update to the newer one - 2.0e from the link below:

After you update your firmware like benbryant has sugested.

You may want to try burning with IMGburn its free and awesome for burning your backups. If you want to try it the link is in my sig.

I just updated my firmware... thanks for that by the way at least its running on the latest firmware but it's still not burning This caught my eye when going through my old report

it looks like the DMA isn't correct (either on or off) in some places so I'm wondering if thats it even though i checked it and both IDE drivers are DMA only. Anyway here's the new report:

dtscsi is for Daemon Tools use. IMHO, it shouldn't cause any problem with burning. Look like your burner doesn't like this particular media. Please try different media to see if it helps

Again...

So after a lot of trial and error with EVERYTHING somehow Nero burned. For 3 DVD's anyway then the 4th one keeps messing up... tried the same things over again. It says my DMA is off, i reinstalled the driver (again) burned at the lowest speed and i also turned off burn at once but a power calibration error pops up.... heres the change log maybe someone can help me again? I appreciated everyone's help last time it's just I'd like Nero to work 100% of the time instead of sporadically. Maybe someone knows the problem?

This kind of sounds like a Roxio\Sonic problem to me.If I remeber right Roxio and Sonic will cause Prassi/Veritas to mess with nero.If you have Roxio\Sonic installed I suggest you use Roxio Zapper and get rid of it.Even if you uninstalled it a while ago.If Roxio Zapper wont remove it then Windows Installer CleanUp Utility 1.0 will

Question... I don't even see anything to do with Roxio/sonic in the windows installer prog. The only thing I don't know wut it is is the MSXML. Any suggestions?
