    virtualdub hickups

    I'm trying to take a scene from a movie to use in a presentation. so it's only 1 minute out of 110.
    I select the part and export it direct stream copy.
    When I review it the new shortened version has loads of hickups.
    It plays 1/2 second, stops 1/2 - 1 sec. and so forth.

    Any clues here ?
    Other software suggestions included of course, just have to get this done before thursday

    ps, the whole movie works fine.

      Chances are that the audio is not interleaved with the video on a 1:1 basis. Try resaving the entire file (with a new name) under either VirtualDub or NanDub, with audio interleaving set to "Every 1 frame" (set "Video" to "Direct Stream Copying").

      Then try cutting from your new file.

      Let us know of your success ;>}

          nandub is basically a modified form of Virtualdub. Apparently, it has added support for file types that Virtualdub does not.
