divx audio

I have divx 3.11a and divx 5. Some movies have audio and some don't. Can anyone tell me why that is? I'm kind of a beginner with this stuff. I downloaded a divx audio compressor 4.02, but it says that windows logo doesn't support it or something like that. I have windows xp. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Probably you are still missing the AC3 codec (available from a codec pack) required for AC3 sound tracks?

I'm pretty sure the file I need is Divxa32.acm. I did some reading, and this sounds like the problem I'm having. Does anyone know where to find it? I don't want it as part of Nimo though. Thanks.

since i'm not sure if this is the only file you're missing, i'd strongly recommend to install divx3.11 or tsunamis filterpack 396.
