    sound is delayed.

i have a .avi movie and when i play it the video quality is good and the sound is good, but the sound is delayed maybe 0.5sec or 1sec, so it looks/sounds pretty dumb to watch the movie, so my guestion -> is there any player that lets you adjust when the sound starts so that it would play the sound sooner.

    Load the File in Nandub.
Set both Video and Audio tabs to Direct Stream Copy.
In the audio dropdown menu select Interleaving[Ctrl+I]
Adjust the audio delay in the Audio Skew Correction field.
    Save AVI [F7]
    Experiment until sync......

in the nandub audio tab, if i have "no audio" selected, every thing works just fine, but the new .avi doesnt have any sound, and if i choose "AVI audio" i get an error like this when i try to save the new file "AudioStreamSource error: file read error (8004406d)".

In that Syncronizer program i choosed the file in the first tab, then i went to the sync tab and delayed the sound with 300ms (thats the correct value for my file to be syncronized) then i went to the Remux AVI tab and choosed the destination file but the problem was that onyl the video was makeing any progress. why doesnt the audio progress indicator change?

          Try in VirtualDub
Note that the "plain" VDub doesn't support AC3 or VBR Mp3 audio tracks.

An easier but only temporary solution would be to just set a video delay in ffdshow.
