    AVI File Size Using GKnot0.26

Ok, so I'm trying to use GKnot to go from DVD to Divx 5 AVI's. I use Smartripper, and follow all the instructions, but all my movies come out a) super small and b) really crappy bitrate. I've tried a variety of settings on the bitrate tab, both file size, and number of CD's/size of CD's. Even when I set the file to be several gig's it comes out to be 450mb tops. I've tried unchecking the "adjust bitrate" boxes in the audio1 and divx5 tabs during the "save and encode" part, in case that was effecting it, but it didn't do anything.

Any insight as to what I'm doing wrong/what I can try differently?
