    ever tried another encoder`??
try encoding using mpeg2avi. its not that nice, but its faster. u get it here or on digital-digest or everywhere else in the net.

    have fun
There is always a way u can handle it...

      mpeg2avi

mpeg2avi is not as userfriendly as flask but on the other hand it is rock solid and the fastest encoder.

i personally do not use it any more as i consider NANDUB the best tool, but i have written a tutorial for mpeg2avi some time ago, which is hosted on digital digest.

      take a look

due to changing links, you might also try to get the software you'll need from this german version of my guide which is up2date

        Nandup question...

        UncasMS,

I have a quite weird problem with Nandup, maybe you can have an idea.

I followed all the Nandup guides around, but when it comes to First Pass (F8) it generates a gigantic temp avi file (180 Gig ). Ticking the "No avi output" option doesn't help either.

I tried a 15 Mb avi file for practising, the second pass result divx avi was more than 1Gig. Flask generated an output of 6Mb.

        Any idea what I'm missing?

my best bet would be you have divx 4 / opendivx installed on your machine and no divx3!!??!!??

if in doubt, install the Tsunami Filter Pack 3F which can be found on my page

btw: i envy you for the space neccessary to save a 180 gig file

          +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

          one more idea:

          was antishit on?
if so exactly HOW did you do your encoding with nandub?
          avisynth?

Try going to the FlaskMPEG Home Site and downloading an earlier or later version. Remove the old one first though or you'll keep all the original settings!
