Dvx? Wtf?

Ok, im new to using DVX. Can anyone tell me, is it any good quality wise. if not, wot else can i use?

Iv used gordian knot with Xvid. The quality is good, yet not good enough.

Ok, onto my prob...
Using DVX, i open the vob, and DVD2AVI makes a d2v. When dvx opens this, i get an error at the top, sayin it does not contain MPEG2Source. Whats Wrong?
