I used divx 5.0.2 with gk 0.27 and everything worked fine.
Then I updated divx to 5.1 and gk started having problems. The problem is gk could not open the log file after the first pass, thus it cannot perform the second pass and everything came to a halt

I had this problem before when I updated divx 5.0.1 to 5.0.2. I searched the forum and found that gk had to be reinstalled after a divx update for it to work properly. I reinstalled gk (actually updated it from 0.26.1 to 0.27) and everything went fine.
This time I couldn't uninstall gk 0.27 (as there was no entry for gk in the add/remove programs and gk 0.27 has no uninstall option). So I just reinstalled gk 0.27 over itself (i.e. install the gk rippack 0.27 to the same folder that the existing gk 0.27 is residing). However, this didn't solved the problem.
Can anyone tell me:
1) how to completely uninstall gk 0.27? and
2) whether divx 5.1 would work with gk 0.27 or do I have to go back to divx 5.0.2?
Thanks for any help,
