vdub crash on 2 audio streams w/ different bitrates?

i tried to encode a tv episode with 2 audio streams, one is 96kbps vbr and the other 64kbps vbr, in gk0.28.7 and vdub failed at the muxing. i've never tried this before and i wonder if this is normal?

well, i found the source of my problem:

lame cannot transcode to mp3 with bitrate less than 80kbps vbr (i used besweet gui 0.6b76 to transcode ac3 to mp3 64kbps vbr and it failed; i did it again at 96kbps vbr, with all other parameters the same, and it worked). thus, the requested 2nd audio track (64kbps) did not get transcoded. thus, vdubmod couldn't load the audio file and the muxing failed.

why can't lame go below 80kbps?

could be due to the lame version and the use of --alt - presets

i used --abr. however, the cause of the problem lies in the settings of lame (see attachment). all i have to do is lower the setting for min abr. thanks, uncasms, for the prompt responses.
