Sutitles Help!! Please

I need a little help using virtualdub. I want to create a subtitled avi file with more or less the same size of the original avi file (without subtitles). I have the subtitles in srt format. How can i do that using virtualdub?? I need help abot this issue because i need to leran how to backup my dvd movies. Thanks for all

srt files can be played optionally along with your avi

avi and srt should have the same name (not extension of course!)

ok, thanks for all bur, i downloaded an avi film and i have the subtitles in other place and i want to create a final avi with the original + the subtitles. I want to burn the subtitles in the final avi using virtuadub. How can i do that??? Thanks
