    converting divx/xvid files

    there are no divx/xvid to dvd programs that work properly. either the file isnt even recognised or the sound doesnt work. can some 1 tell me why TMPGenc wont except some of my divx/xvid files.... I have XVID, DIVX and FFDSHOW installed !!!!

    there are routines to convert mpeg-4 to mpeg-2 in order to burn/author it to dvd

    2)
    people who download formats from the i-net and are not able to convert these formats properly shouldnt complain

      1) Load the original video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub

      2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

      3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box
