Vob to DV dif conversion

I First can I say this forum looks great, and I hope to be able to contibute at some time.
Now My problem.
I have a DVD (vob) format and need to load the files to my Non Linear Editor in DVavi or DVdif format. So far I have been unable to find (othere than $600 Media Cleaner) software to achieve this. Anyone know of a product or process I can achieve this?.

virtualdubMOD will let you choose any installed codec

thus load your source material into vdMOD and then go to video
=> full processing mode
=> next set the compression (i.e. codec and settings)
=> afterwards file save as

chapter 2 of my old gk guide will tell you how to create a project file (d2v) using dvd2avi which can be loaded into virtualdubMOD in order to process all your vobfiles

dvd2avi is nowadays called dpmpgdec1012 but the process is similar to my description

open dgmpgdec and press F3 (or file => autoincrement open)....
