    Media Player Classic Problem

I'm not really sure I'm in the right place to get tech-support for Media Player Classic 6.4.8.2, but I may at least get directions if not help to a site that can.

I know you don't support any of the K-Lite Mega Codec Packs, but it plays a role in my explaining the problems I'm having.

Very simply Media Player Classic displays compressed (not RAW avi) magnified. This started happening a few weeks ago. If I open a compressed avi with virtual dub the whole picture (vid) is displayed, but when using Media Player Classic to play back the avi the picture (vid) is magnified showing a small portion of the center of the whole picture (vid).

RAW or uncompressed avi files are not effected.

I have been through Options over and over with no success.

I treid to capture a screen to jpg or bmp but the picture of media player classic kept lossing the content.

"This started happening a few weeks ago."

If your O/S is WinXP, simply perform a "System Restore" back to the last time things were working properly...

System Restore has been turned off to save drive space.

whatever playbackfilter is being used now, install FFDSHOW and give it a try

                Windows Media Player Filteres

Something I forgot to mention before concerning the Codec Pack is that not long after installing a newer version of K-Lite did the problem start.
