    xmpeg

    Hello,

i've got a small question about xmpeg4.2a, (i know it's buggy, but it seems to work fine here).

Can you turn off the compression tracer for the 2nd pass. I can turn it off manually for the first, but it reopens itself for the second pass, and it costs me about 2frames/s.

    Thx Noets

apart from testing a few time, i'm not toooo familiar with xmpegf, but i should think you WILL need a compression tracer for the second pass or otherwise bitrate controlling cannot possibly take place!

pass 1 usually measure the film itself and thus no tracing is needed.
