Hi Everyone, i have downloaded two different movie of Spiderman 2002 each starting with [TMM], i am not able to either hear or see the picture , the properties shows codec unknow,


Can any one help me out please, i really wasted 2 days downloading these movies

Load the file in Virtual Dub, select file and properties and post what it says. I imagine it was made with divx 5.01. You could try installing that.

Hi , thanks for your quick reply, i downloaded DIVX-5.01 but still this does not have any effect , i dont have virtual dub , but does virtual dub allows avi files.

Yes, vdub will allow you to look at the file. Check the properties and post the results. Maybe we can figure out what it is.

those files could well be mpeg2 files, i.e. svcd.

try playback via powerdvd or windvd!
