    cutting in virtualdub

is there any way that you can cut 2,3 seconds off of the begging of a movie?.. virtual dub doesn't seem to be able to do it.. is there anyother program or is it entirely impossible

virtualdub is just about the best tool for that!

mark WHAT you want to keep of your movie - i.e. set the start marker after 2-3 secs and end marker whereever you want the end to be.

    then save as.

    there you go.

for the marker stuff, check my page if you like.

you can only cut at keyframes!

maybe there simply is not keyframe!??

did you use the correct way to set the marker?
if so you should have hit a keyframe and should be able to cut at that particular point!
