      I estimated it would take me about 36 hours just to do Phase II encoding on a 2 hour TV episode,using the pro version and ProCoder 2.

        Wow... is Procoder 2 really that slow, or does your computer have a crank in the back?

        On my system (AMD Athlon XP, 3200+) using CCE a typical movie takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours for Phase 2. Maybe 3 on very busy (series) discs. HC takes roughly twice that long.

          I don't know I may have to switch to CCE, cuz obviously what I have going on now is just unreasonable. Perhaps there's just too many VTS segments (36) in mine, for rebuilder to process.In any event, I sure would appreciate mate, the kinds of 'settings' that you typically use for your movies.

              Do you have any filters added in the filter editor. That's the only thing I can imagine that would slow it down that much. 36 segments isn't unusual at all.
