Where the error.log is saved?

hi UncasMS and all.

trying dvd-rb freeware using all default with cce in SWIII,after long time encoding came one advice:
dvd-rb error....will create one error.log(or something like this).
cce was running VTS_03 segment 66 after i click in OK that close dvd-rb.

my system is running for 2 days and is heavy and slow,maybe this is the reason.
(i need to reboot the system)
i have 2 questions,please answer me:

first: where that error.log is saved?(it's not inside the working folder)

second: can i restart from the last step before brake?

monolog-part 2-the long and w. road

i'm sorry,without help,no way out.

after search the whole stykies one day long here and in doom9,i could not find anything about error.log.

another problem(for me) is that cce 2.5 or 2.66 are not working with dvd-rb free, always came that error posted and/or others about cce path,etc.
all paths was adjusted like this:

Some words on the *Pathes*:
- CCE versions 2.5x – 2.6x require ECLCCE.exe to be adressed instead of the cce*.exe itself!

and like this was done.
cce 2.5 and 2.66 always work with dvd2svcd,then it's not the encoders.
what i'm doing wrong?( of course i am but, what? )

where did you post this thread before?

i see it here in the rb forum for the first time - well, anyway

i have no idea where the error log might bestored - search for something like *.log


the question of resuming can usually be answered with YES
load the same project/directory and UNtick *1-click*
now you should find three buttons named prepare, encode, rebuild

hit encode and rebuilder normally starts with the next segment in its queue that hasnt been converted so far

you will have to finally use rebuild of course to create the final data



concerning cce: WHAT error message do you get?

do you have eclcce installed and cofigured properly??

maybe a screenshot of the rebuilder setup might shed some light on the paths and next we would need to know what cce version you clicked in the => options => cce options menu

i posted here in this same place yesterday,no changes.
i search using *log*.* and *error*.* ...nothing was found from dvd-rb in the whole system.(big mistery)

i did too all your options posted:

UNtick *1-click*

everything.
3 times dvd-rb close alone.

now i'm removing and installing all again and will host all pictures from setup,please check all for me....i'm right that i'm doing something wrong.
i choose cce 266 to use!

there is something that seems wrong to me

when using the TRIAL of cce 2.6x you will have to use eclcce and point to the eclcce.exe in your setup for cce sp (new)

oh my....
changing the path using all options one by one,came the same advice :

"No path defined
No CCE path has been set. Use menu Options/Setup to configure."

i don't know what to do.

this is only my idea to use CCE 2.5(no trial) :
1- changing to CCE 2.5 ,installl and run another eclcce.exe for this version and adjust the paths
or
2- reinstall again choosing the CCE 2.5 as default.

you will have to point to eclcce.exe AND this eclcce.exe must point to the ccetrial.exe

doubleclick the eclcce first and configure it (though this could also be done when used/run first)

and i still dont see any hint of what you selected in => options => cce options

i was confused because the Cinthia's guide don't have instructions to use CCE and is hard for new users understand how and where adjust the paths for this encoder.

yes,is perfect UncasMS as you read the log in my last post and the final size have 3.59Gb
now i want to do again with HCEnc using tweak and fft3dfilter(testing filters)
i want to know about predition with HCEnc(i asked you in another thread here.)
