Matrices in RB free

what matrices are used in RB free for cce/hc,where they are and how can i edit(change)?

no UncasMS,i never used because

i never tried rme together with a rb freeware either but maybe it'll work

I used DVD Rebuilder free version for some time, but can't remember if you can use RME with it. Check the help file jeo.

running matrixeditor first advice about "matrix folder wasn't found" after that..."error 713:class not registered.you need the ..bla,bla: msstdfmt.dll"
yeah,..rme was not build for free versions!

i'm encoding lotr(fellowship) in RB with HC encoder.

one last question as i can't edit the matrices in rb-free:
what matrix is used and where is it? (built in hc??)

are you referring to the MPEG matrix?

This one is a default matrix under the MPEG-2 international standard. If CCE's Standard does not work as fine as you expected, it may help you to improve the quality of image with higher bitrate.

reading hc015.pdf have cool instructions to change/choose the matrices.
you only need to type in HC.ini : *matrix ??? where ???=list inside .pdf file-pages 8 & 9).
