ifo decryped...will it work with pro version?

well,i decrypted my "40 yr old virgin" dvd only decrypting the movie part with decrypter(ifo mode)...dont ask why, anyways in the meantime,my sister went back to the college and took dvd with her,so i was wondering, can i use dvd rebuilder pro instead of free version to back up-rebuild this movie, and if it wont work with dvd-rb,which software should i use to make it dvd-format "friendly"???

it actualy does, and everything seemed fine,i went to bed,and i left dvdrb do the work, this morning i went to see if its done, but a message was displayed, saying that sth is wrong with vts_ts ifo --but im not sure,i dont remmember ,i automatically pressed ok,and went to see if powerdvd would play,so all the files were allerady there,in the output folder, but, powedvd got unknown file format message

maybe you should create new ifos with ifoedit

i doubt the pro version will be any different with this problem of yours

A long shot: Perhaps use DVD Shrink in re-author mode and then import the main movie that way. If you can open the files that way - then just set DVD Shrink to no shrinking and output the files. Those files should then be no problem in DVD Rebuilder.

once in experimenting in ifo mode I recieved a message that is seeemingly similar to yours! (details are foggy)

but I do remember it was fixvts that finally rendered the files (original) rb friendly, so you may try that!

everything went well,BUT,i opened it in powerdvd, and it looks like all the audio and subtitles are stil there, not phisicaly, but in powerdvd menu i can still choose between subtitles, although only croatian(one i chose in dvdrb) work, and if enable others they dont display, but why are they there to choose???
is there any way to fix that, perhaps with pcgedit or a similar software, that never happens when enocding with dvdshrink,or is this because of free version?

                  load the dvd into pgcedit

                  doubleclick the main movie

click on the audio/subtitlestreams you want to get rid off and DISABLE them

                  save
