DVD-RB preparation help

Just yesterday I've tried to reencode a DVD-9. Usually I prepare the process using at least two encoders (HC 017 and CCE), save project and run it nightly.

The preparation-process produces a small log file but also a window in which DVD-RB says what encoder is used, how long the preparation lasted etc. Yesterday I've noticed DVD-RB still makes a log file with all information but in the window there's no information. The Progress button (left panel) is totally filled and the prepare button becomes gray. So preparation must be done (mostly it takes about 7 minutes).

I've also tried to encode the project but it failed. Is there something I should check.

which version were you using?

did you try to start from scratch again?

I'm currently using DVD-RB 1.09 I've tried several times

This is the only thing I see nothing changes in the right panel not even after

Have you recently updated to 1.09.3?? You only mention 1.09
Possibly a failed update/installation?
Have you tried to analyze the video files with any other program ( Shrink ) Maybe the ripped files are corrupt??
Which video are you attempting to backup?

I've removed version 1.9 and replaced it for 1.4. I just did a prepare on Anouk Alive DVD 1. This is the log

The left column status log just states the following:
[20:40:43] Phase I, PREPARATION started.
- CCE SP 2.70.2.0 encoder selected.
- VTS_01: 3 ....... where's the rest.
