Quick Question

I am not sure what it is for I did a google on iDCT but I kept on getting stuff for DGdecode and I looked at the pro help files and I am still not 100% clear on what it does.
Do I leave this on default or can I tick sse2mmx I know my computer supports it?

I know it's prob safe but if I am not sure of something I like to check and make sure I wont ruin anything better to be safe then sorry I did give a go I didn't see any difference

That's good... you shouldn't see a difference... Each of the choices represent a different routine to do the same thing with different levels of accuracy. Some algorithms run faster on some processors than others.

The complete package dgmpgd 1.4.7 beta6 which has the DGDecode manual and the DGIndex executible will give you the definations of which one to choose.

iDCt Algorithm

The default setting in DGIndex is:
Skal SSE MMX and is the one I use.

i use simple MMX (xvid).

from what ive heard, its SLIGHTLY more precise and faster than the default.
