Is there a free vs. pro comparison somewhere - can't seem to find it. Also, I notice a lot of references to DVD RB and menus - is that only on the pro ver.?

Worth it? You betchya!!!!
Still, the Freeware version is there for beginners to learn this amazing program and get comfortable with it and does a great job. I used it for some months before going "Pro".

I don't usually do this, but I didn't even try the free version. I was looking for a new compressing program and all the experts were raving about it. So I just donated. One of the best purchases ever!Comment

Unfortunately, same thing happened. This mean it must be the source? I'll try another movie and see what's up with that. That's a lengthy test! And how could a source change a size limit?

Maybe we need to wait till jdobbs pops back in. I'm sorry, I'm stumped.
Only thing I can advise is to totally uninstall and reinstall with defaults (through the official installer), but I s'pose you have tried that.
