I can't rebuild a specific dvd, Le Pacte des Loups (Brotherhood of the wolf) PAL and I have no idea why. I'm using DVDRB Free 0.98.1 (obviously updated to the last version) and CCE 2.70. This is what happens:
Phase I, Preparation started
[17.49.15] Phase I, PREPARATION started.
- VTS_03: 3.525.084 sectors.
-- Scanning and writing .D2V file
-- Processed 199.883 frames.
-- Building .AVS and .ECL files
- Reduction Level for DVD-5: 75,0%
- Overall Bitrate : 3.558Kbs
- Space for Video : 3.472.766KB
- HIGH/LOW/AVERAGE Cell Bitrates: 3.830/3.264/3.558 Kbs
[17.53.24] Phase I, PREPARATION completed in 4 minutes.
[18.12.08] Phase II ENCODING started
- Creating M2V for VTS_03 segment 0
- Creating M2V for VTS_03 segment 1
- Creating M2V for VTS_03 segment 2
- Creating M2V for VTS_03 segment 3
- Creating M2V for VTS_03 segment 4
- Creating M2V for VTS_03 segment 5
- Creating M2V for VTS_03 segment 6
- Creating M2V for VTS_03 segment 7
[21.12.14] Phase II ENCODING started
- Creating M2V for VTS_03 segment 7
- Creating M2V for VTS_03 segment 8
-- Encoding resulted in no .M2V, retrying.
- Creating M2V for VTS_03 segment 8
-- Encoding resulted in no .M2V, retrying.
(I paused it myself on segment 7)
Rb retries a few time, then the encoding is aborted. I initially had the DVD backed up on my hd with Dvd Decrypter, I copied it again (full dvd) with Ripit4me+Decrypter+Fixvts (in case anything went wrong the first time). I checked the dvd structure with Pgcedit, and tried to play the dvd with a number of programs (Ifoedit - before I turned it into an .iso -, VLC, Intervideo windvd, Powerdvd) and it perfectly worked.
I ran into a couple of errors with DVDRBfree lately, but either they were on my end or they could be fixed. Besides, they do happen very, very rarely. I don't have a clue on this one.
Jdobbs? Blutach? Anyone?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide me with.
Regards
